Privacy Policy

Last updated October 25, 2026. AlchemizeTV is a product of Ashtech Software. This policy covers the AlchemizeTV website, web console, and player app.

What your account stores

• Account details — your name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Your setup — the provider details you enter (such as your provider’s server address and the login you give us for it), your lineups, categories, guide sources, and channel-to-guide mapping. This has to live on your account so your players can receive it — that delivery is the product.
• Your devices — the players you pair: their names, their own per-device login, the lineup each carries, and when each was last seen.
• Plan and billing state — which plan you hold, trial and subscription status, and purchase records. Card payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your full card number.

What we never see

Your streams. Video plays directly between your provider and your device; it is never routed through our servers, so we cannot see what you watch, record it, or log it. We collect no viewing history on our servers. We run no advertising and no third-party analytics on the console.

Cookies

We use one kind of cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To run your account — sign you in, deliver your setup to your players, and sync your changes.
• To email you about your account: verification, password resets, purchase and trial/subscription notices, and replies to support requests.
• To keep the service secure and within plan limits (for example, the account cap during the beta).

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the processors a working service needs — currently Stripe (payments) and our email delivery provider — each limited to its job.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays while your account exists. You can delete your account and its data yourself at any time: sign in, open Account, and choose Delete my account — deletion removes your setup, devices, and account details right away, except for records we are required to keep (such as payment receipts). If you cannot sign in, emailing support@alchemizetv.com works too. If you simply stop using the service, your setup remains saved so your TVs keep working when you return.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, each device gets its own revocable login, and account traffic runs over HTTPS. No system is perfect, but we design so that a single device’s credentials never expose your account or your other TVs.
